Hello...

I swear no one reads this anymore but its probably my own fault... I figure I would continue blogging for myself...This little man is officially 2 today. He is currently licking my knee saying "nummies". I guess I need to feed him. With the doctors ok we headed down to visit my parents on Sat. where Xavier got his new Power Wheel and a million Tonka Cars... We opened presents, we ate cake, he had a great time. He was so cute... his power wheel was still in the box when he arrived (who knew you had to literally build the dang thing)... He rolled the wheels around, brought the big boys the parts, he really wanted it put together... and as soon as it was finished he was perfectly content opening and closing the doors... getting in and out... or just sitting inside watching his favorite cartoons.

For something a little more random I think I know what hubby should get me for mothers day...

Love the new print! And Mothers day is the perfect excuse for a new purse right? Other then that we are still waiting... luckily the baby wasnt born on Xavier's birthday so we don't have to worry about future fights of who stole who's birthday and what the theme of the birthday party should be... I hope... but there is still some hours left in the day so I guess you never know. I guess the only other day we would like to dodge is April Fools because no one will believe us right...

Waiting...

There are signs of baby everywhere just no baby...yet. I am nearing week 38 of pregnancy, about the same time I had Xavier almost 2 years ago so now we are really just anxious... At the same time I am really ok with baby taking his time. I am enjoying Xavier and the quiet nights for now.

We went out today to a scrapbooking store and to GameStop. Hubby wanted a new game. I was getting a lot of contractions throughout the day, the felt more "real" since they were consistent and in my back but when we got home they went away. The waiting part is the worst, not knowing. I having a million things running through my head. What if I go into labor in the middle of the night and I cant get ahold of anyone to pick up Xavier (family is an hour away)? Then we will have to bring him to the hospital while I have the baby =X eek. Or, what if I go into labor around 5 and I cant get ahold of hubby and when I do he gets stuck in traffic? Aigoo... I am so worried... pray that everything works out and I am just losing my mind... which I think I am losing my mind... I've done the nesting, and lately I have just been so irratable and annoyed... I spent most the weekend laying in bed resting because I want to be well rested for the pain, whenever that is...

Well I hope everyone else had a great weekend!

I made something...

Which is amazing... Well, not what I made but the fact that I actually made something...

Other then that we are waiting for baby... No hurry we will just wait but we are excited to meet little Marc. Oh thats weird saying that =)

It's been a while...

Today marks the 36th week of pregnancy... OMG I cant believe we are almost there! The doctor says any day now, although its better to wait a bit longer.... Xavier came about 2 weeks early so we will see with this little one. We finally decided on a name, Marcellus which is my dads middle name... we couldnt think of anything else... He will be my little Marc-ee! Anyway I think we have everything he needs since we have a lot of stuff from Xavier. I just need to wash everything for him (I hate washing clothes)....

Yesterday was my birthday, I feel like I am getting old....23. Xavier has been sick for the past week, poor baby. Lets see I finished his quilt...


I know it is so far from perfect... very far... the word perfect and this quilt should not even be in the same sentence BUT I am so happy with it... I love the colors, I love that I never gave up, I love that its for my baby... Please keep in mind this is the first thing I have EVER sewed! So because of that I cant be mad at myself right... I made a few mistakes... I didnt prewash, luckly no colors ran onto eachother... the only noticeable thing is the wrinkle from shrinking in the wash it seems.... I cut the binding to small so it is really tight... oh and it took me until I was almost done to figure out how to sew a straighter line... All the lines are pretty crooked. Oh well I am sure that there is many more quilts to come in the future because I loved it (hopefully they get better with practice)!

Not so perfect...

Happy Valentines Day, although its almost over here. Today was a great day... well not so perfect day but nothing to complain about. I woke up this morning to roses, chocolate, and a cute little piece of art from hubby... We also took Xavier to the zoo for the first time. I think he was a little confused and for the most part was just happy to be outside. We stayed for maybe 30mintues. It was cold and I was in pain which figures since I am almost 34 weeks along....

Anyway, I have been totally wanting to do something crafty lately so I thought it would be a good idea to try making Xavier a quilt for his birthday, plenty of time because his birthday isn't until March 30th. The only thing is I know myself, I would probably buy a bunch of fabric but never have all the supplies to finish a quilt... So, I ordered a custom quilt with pretty much everything I needed from etsy seller starlitnest. Shes super helpful and put together a great little kit! So today when I got home I pieced everything together and managed to finish the quilt top. Ok, its not perfect but I am so happy with it so far... why, because I usually give up on things like this... and what do I expect, this is my first time.


Only thing is I dont have a walking foot so I cant finish it anytime soon so maybe next weekend!... Yea, its pretty much as bright and coloful in real life... LOVE... Althought I took this picture in the worst light.

Tomorrow is maternity/ family pictures.... YAY!

Slacker....

Yes I have been sucking at blogging but I promise I have thought about it several times.. =) Anyway, everything has been good here... I am almost 32 weeks preggers!!! OMG 32 weeks thats scary to think a little one in around 8 weeks! I have been going through the "nesting" mode, wanting to clean clean clean and I have also been really interested in picking up a new hobby. I bought some fabric and when it gets here I am going to attempt to make Xavier a quilt for his birthday!

Other then that we are getting maternity/ family pictures done next Sunday. I am so excited for this because we never got family pictures with Xavier and it seems like something that needs to be done. My idea was to do an urban style shoot in front of graffiti so we went and checked out a location I found online a week or so again. It is so awesome... here is a picture I took of it today.
